The official website of the Russian government has information that Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, in accordance with which subsidies are distributed to the subjects of the Federation for the implementation of regional programs to assist in the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Analysis of Political Infrastructure Yevgeny Vitalyevich Tunik believes that the government is completely irresponsible in spending the already scarce budget money.

“I believe that this is the worst decision of the Government, taking into account the situation in which the country is at the moment. Every day we are informed about the lack of funds for the implementation of various state programs, the impossibility of paying salaries to certain government departments, that we need to “tighten our belts”, and against the background of this information wave, the government irresponsibly spends the budget deficit money.
I believe that it is necessary to invest budget funds in the real sector of the economy, open new enterprises, diversify production, and thus create conditions for the organization of a normal working process and labor migration, which certainly stimulates the return of citizens who left our homeland. And what is 200 million rubles from the federal budget for 59 subjects of the Federation? Is it possible for such money to create at least some favorable conditions, as well as opportunities for the voluntary return of citizens. The answer is obvious. I hope this money will not end up in the pocket of some unscrupulous regional manager.
I remind you that the size of subsidies is decreasing every year, despite the improvement in the conditions of the resettlement program. This is direct evidence of a lack of interest from the intended users of this opportunity. Given this fact, an even more pressing question arises: For whom are we doing this? ”Said Yevgeny V. Tunik.
