The experts presented the “sobriety rating” of the Russian subjects for 2016.
Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia and other North Caucasian republics were expected to be the most sober regions. The cities of federal significance were attributed to the low-drinking subjects: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, as well as a number of southern regions (Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Volgograd and Belgorod Regions).
On the contrary, the northern regions were considered the most “drunk”. The top five included the Magadan Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Nenets Autonomous Region, Kamchatka and the Novgorod Region.
Indicators for the six parameters evolved in the total amount. Subjects who scored less than 130 points were ranked among the low-drinking regions. There were a total of 20 of them. The average risk group included 43 subjects who scored from 130 to 250 points. The level of 250 points exceeded 22 regions.
