Watch the video
During the startup of the operating system, a password is usually requested, which must be entered in order to start using the computer. Sometimes this protection has to be put when several people use one computer. Then the password is set not only before entering the operating system itself, but even in the BIOS itself, where protection becomes more guaranteed and reliable.
If the necessary password is forgotten or someone has joked with you by setting an unknown password without permission, you just need to remove such protection. Let's figure out how to remove the password from Windows in the BIOS and the usual administrator password.
Remove user password
To reset user passwords when the operating system starts, you must initially restart the computer and enter safe mode. To do this, without waiting for the full start of the system, press the button on the F8 keyboard and select “Safe mode” on the screen. If there are several users registered in the computer, then it is necessary to log in to this mode as the Administrator.
When the computer is working in safe mode, you need to go to the "Start" and select "Control Panel". In it we find "User Accounts". Here it is necessary to specify the user account with which you want to remove the password. Select the desired user, click on it. A window will open in which you should select the item “Delete password”. Then you just need to carefully read everything that is written on the screen, and follow the instructions that are given.
After performing the above steps, you must restart the computer and log in without using a password. Now the Windows password will no longer be requested. The whole process takes only 15 minutes.
Deleting password in BIOS
Perhaps the security password you set in the BIOS is no longer useful, so you can remove or delete it. To do this, enter the BIOS itself. To perform this action, restart the computer and, as soon as it starts loading in a new way, pay attention to Press ***, where *** is a key (F1, Delete, etc.), they may differ on different PCs). You need to press this key. If you do not have time, restart again.
Now that you have entered BIOS, you need to select the BIOS Setting Password. You will see a window in which you can perform two actions: either enter a new password and press Enter to confirm, or enter nothing at all and also confirm your action.
When you, without typing anything, press Enter, a window opens in which “Password uninstalled” is written, press Enter again. To save the final result, press the F10 button on the keyboard. Thus, you can delete the password in BIOS permanently.
