How to call a story?
Are you trying to write stories? It is perfectly. But it often happens that you already have a text in front of you, but you don’t know what to call the story.
When you think up the name for your “offspring”, try not to use banal phrases, as well as famous quotes. Do not use interrogative sentences. If you choose a name from a single word, this will not be a good option either. As an exception, you can use the option when the story is named after the main character. For example, "Alexander". The name can also be used in a sentence that describes the story, “The Last Night of Vladimir”. Do not use long sentences, they are not perceived in the title and are not remembered.
In the title of your story should be hidden the content of your work. The reader should catch the course of your thoughts both in the story itself and in its title. Sometimes you can come up with a very beautiful title, but it will have nothing to do with the story. Try to have full harmony in your title, and it corresponds to the theme of the story.
In the title of the story, if he, for example, on the theme of love, must be present notes of romance. Then, those who love stories on such a topic will immediately be able to catch the love notes in the title of the work. For example, "Spring of love ...".
If you think what to call a story, then one of the options may be a comic title, but provided that the plot itself is not dramatic. Use adjectives in your titles so that they do not seem “dry”. For example, the story can be called "Nina", and can be "Charming Nina". Instead of "The Cluster of Rowan" it will be better - "The Scarlet Clusters of Rowan". Add intrigue to the title so that the reader becomes interested in your work.
From the title of your story depends on the attitude of the editor to it. If the work captures the same name, then this is half the success.
