Aliyeva Mehriban: biography, personal life and political career
Mehriban Arif Kyzy Aliyeva today is one of the most famous women politicians. It seems that she is succeeding in all her endeavors. Someone can say that they are connected with the status of the first lady of Azerbaijan. But you can hardly achieve your goals without perseverance and talent. And they have the first lady for sure.
The future vice-president was born in the family of influential academicians Arif Pashayeva and Aida Imanguliyeva on August 26, 1964. Mehriban grew an exemplary daughter and successfully completed her schooling - the gold medal was the first in the collection. The medical profession is one of the most prestigious at all times, and therefore Mehriban Khanum became a student at the medical institute in her native Baku, and later transferred to the First Moscow Medical University. The second daughter, Arzu (1989) - is engaged in business. She is married to Samad Kurbanov. They have a son and daughter - Aydin and Aziza.
The younger son, Heydar is a graduate of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
The path to politics Mehriban began with public life.Thanks to it, the foundation “Friends of Culture of Azerbaijan” was established, and the magazine “Azerbaijan Irs” was published (in 3 languages) (1995-96). In 2005, with the help of an overwhelming majority of votes (92%), she was elected to the Milli Majlis (National Assembly). In 2013, she was appointed deputy chairman of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party”.
