The singer Mika Newton, a Ukrainian singer in her homeland, received the ambiguous Eurovision 2011 finalist. Recently, a 25-year-old blonde was spotted underground at a depth of 624 meters in the company of the miners of the Donetsk Gorky mine.
Ukrainian contestant Eurovision Song Contest 2011 Mika Newton proved to be a brave girl and was not afraid to go down to the coal mine. A miniature blonde held a shift in the company of strong guys - miners at a depth of almost 700 meters under the ground. The 25-year-old singer went down in the face during an excursion to Donetsk to the Gorky mine.
Mika Newton's visit to Donetsk was connected with the fact that she, as a member of the jury of Junior Eurovision, came to one of the stages of the competition held in the capital of the coal region. The initiative for such an extreme for a representative of show business act came from the singer herself. According to Mika, being in Donetsk, she could not miss such an opportunity. However, she did not inform her parents about this, so as not to worry about her extreme “feats” once again.

Dressed, as it should be, in a mining robe and in full special uniform - in a helmet, with a horse racer and a self-rescuer, the miniature singer with admiration descended into the face. The pop star right in the mine in front of the miners performed her "Angel". But the famous anthem of the miners "The Donetsk young guy came to the steppe" Mika Newton could not, because she admitted that, unfortunately, she did not know the words.
Seen underground, the singer was so impressed that she compared her descent into the face with a parachute jump and a performance at Eurovision.
“The moment you go underground, you realize how happy you are when you work on the air,” the singer shares her impressions. “Going down once is impressive, but when you think for a minute that people do it every day, and over the years, years, years, then ... You can only take off your hat and thank many miners for this incredible work,” impressed with the mine excursion, said Mika.
